It is much easier to be a sheep and stick to doing only those jobs that are in your official job description or that your boss has directly asked you to do.
Some days it is hard to live outside the fences, hard to figure out for yourself how to solve a problem you don’t have the authority or influence to fix.
Some days are rough.
Yet, the small joys offered by the protection of the fences pale in comparison to the real joys felt when you journey mightily out under your own power, physical and mental.
It is hard to be bold, but be bold we must.
Because if we won’t, who will?
